Name Change In Md Middle Name Change Through Marriage

Middle Name Change Through Marriage - name change in md

I'm married and I want to ask if my name as my second first name usage and use of the name of my husband, as my last name? Should I go to court to do so? I think you should go to court to change my name to mean, by marriage. What is the USA / MD right?

In most states, you can be free if you get married. If I can not, and you want to legally change his name, must go through appropriate procedures. Please contact the office of your department and ask what is the appropriate procedure in MD and what it will cost.

It is quite common for women to her maiden name or a surname. So, if you are married John Smith, but her maiden name is Jones, his new name is Juliana Smith Jones. This does not require a legal name change.

However, if you want that name on your passport, social security, credit card, etc., are required to change his name through the judicial process.
